The last cheese Paramo de Guzman auction for 275 euros

The last cheese Paramo de Guzman “survivor” after the fire that devastated our artisan cheese factory, was launched to auction last January 29 at the House of Art and Auction Duran Madrid.

The aim of this auction had a united purpose: to support the scholarship program dining conducted by the NGO EDUCO, which as we mentioned a few weeks ago, ensuring one meal a day at school to children of needy families.

Our batch, comprising the last cheese Paramo de Guzman 2.5 Kg. And a copy of the bestseller “The Telling Room” , contained within the session’s art auction number 516 of this prestigious venue has been committed to the causes charities since its founding in 1969.

After several bids for our lot, which started with a starting price of 60 euros, an anonymous bidder was done with the last unit of “best cheese in the world” for an amount of 275 euros. Based on this input, the kilo of cheese Paramo de Guzman was sold for 110 euros.

The entire collection has been designed to Educo NGOs. Macarena Céspedes, head of institutional relations at EDUCO, this charity auction “shows all values ​​that corporate social responsibility of enterprises must and combines the efforts of a tiny company to move forward.”

It was a pleasure to have shared space with artistic pieces as important as the painting “Concert” Meriem Meziam or collections of commemorative coins of the VI Pan American Games.
