Andrea Tumbarello and Luis Salinero …shared the ‘star’ of the day with Burgos

Both entrepreneurs and chefs visited the display of Burgos Alimenta with black truffles from Soria auctioned at Madrid Fusion

Madrid, Wednesday February 4th 2015. On the last day of Madrid Fusion, agrifood entrepreneurs Burgos arandino received a visit from Chef Luis Salinero, one of the professionals in the province of greater national projection. He was accompanied by his partner and friend, the chef and entrepreneur Andrea Tumbarello Sicilian origin, owner of Don Giovanni. Both Salinero and Tumbarello, are linked to the world of truffles and mycology, in fact the latter had in his hands a copy of black truffle of 600 grams for which minutes before had bid, paying a final price of 6,200 euros, historical record of traditional black truffle auction Soria in Madrid Fusion. Andrea Tumbarello stopped at the booth of Burgos Alimenta and expressed interest in the diversity of agricultural products in the province of Burgos, being directly related to the land and rural areas. For his part, Luis Salinero praised the efforts of Burgos producers and sample new food products of his countrymen. For some years, Luis Salinero develops numerous gastronomic projects away from their place of origin, Aranda de Duero, but has always been close to yours and has defended the pantry of his province. Salinero has held senior positions at numerous hotels and restaurants and Spanish, his career is full of awards, their classification in the National Contest of cooks, Taittinger or Gualteiro Marchesi.
